Child Safety Standards

Last Updated: June 11, 2026

Cohortlyy is a social networking app for students. We are committed to protecting children and maintaining a safe community. This page describes our standards and practices regarding child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Zero tolerance: Cohortlyy has zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM. We prohibit any content or behavior that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors. Violations result in content removal, account suspension or termination, and reporting to appropriate authorities when required by law.

Age Requirement

Cohortlyy is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly permit users under 13 to create accounts. If we learn that a user is under 13, or that a child’s information has been collected in violation of this policy, we will take steps to remove the account and associated data promptly.

See our Privacy Policy for more information about children’s privacy.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on Cohortlyy:

How to Report Child Safety Concerns In the App

Cohortlyy provides in-app tools so users can report harmful content and protect themselves:

1. Report a post

In any group, tap the flag icon on a post to report content that violates our standards, including child safety concerns. Reports are sent to our moderation systems and group administrators for review.

2. Block a user

From a user’s profile, you can block another user to prevent further contact and interaction.

3. Contact support from the app

From the Profile tab, open Help & Support to contact us at [email protected]. Use this for urgent child safety reports, account issues, or concerns that are not covered by post reporting.

When reporting, please include as much detail as possible (username, group name, screenshots if available, and a description of the concern) so we can investigate quickly.

How We Respond to Reports

When we receive a child safety report, we:

  1. Review the reported content or account as promptly as practicable
  2. Remove violating content and restrict or terminate accounts that violate these standards
  3. Preserve relevant information as needed for investigation and legal compliance
  4. Report CSAM and related illegal activity to appropriate regional and national authorities, including where applicable the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States, and cooperate with law enforcement requests

We may also remove content proactively through automated systems, user reports, and moderator review.

Legal Compliance

Cohortlyy complies with applicable child safety laws and platform requirements in the regions where we operate. We report known CSAM to relevant authorities as required by law and take action to prevent further harm.
